While Ubisoft has been providing free downloads for Splinter: Cell Conviction on a weekly basis, the May 27-due DLC is different. It'll come with new missions, and it'll cost you money.

Splinter Cell: Conviction's first round of premium DLC will be coming in 10 days. The 'Insurgency Pack,' which will run $10 on the PC and Xbox Live, will include four new maps for the game's multiplayer Deniable Ops mode set in locations like New Orleans, Portland, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. The additional content will come with 250 points worth of new Achievements.

Splinter Cell: Conviction released over a month ago, earning a 5 star review score and topping the April sales charts. Keep an eye on our weekly DLC roundup to see if the game's first paid content can manage the same measure of success.
