Yeah, yeah, we can't all pick up and go to San Diego this weekend for panels on every nerd-related pursuit under the sun (Guinness Book of World Records chocolate bar eating contest? Really, THQ?). But that doesn't mean the neglected have to sit here and do nothing for four days straight. Here's a set of activities to keep your mind off Comic Con envy:

Three things you can do if you're not at Comic Con

1) Play the Medal of Honor Beta (if you own a 360)
Thanks to some early bugs, Xbox 360 owners got a special extension on the Medal of Honor beta for Xbox 360, which went live a few days ago. Grab a beta key and get gaming.

2) Review Michael Jordan's career highlights
2K Sports announced a Jordan Challenge mode for NBA 2K11 where players can experience 10 special games from Jordan's career. These include his "self-described greatest game" against the Cavaliers in March 1990; Game 6 against the Jazz during the 1997 finals; and his final game as a Chicago Bull on June 14, 1998.

3) Participate in the greatest Facebook satire game created so far
Georgia Institute of Technology associate professor and intellectual indie dev Ian Bogost made a Facebook game to mock all other Facebook games in Cow Clicker. The flaw in the satire is that it's actually fun. Already half the known video games press is in on the joke and a colleague of AJ Glasser's who shall remain nameless dropped $10 of real money on Cow Clicker virtual currency. Check it out here.
