Apple's iPhone isn't the only piece of hardware getting a refresh today, as the entire iPod lineup is also shifting around for new designs and price points.
Not only is the iPhone 4S rolling out with sleek new features, but Apple's iPod lineup is getting a touch-up (except for the iPod Shuffle, which may be discontinued soon). Some changes are cosmetic, while others are hardware-specific. Here's a full list of all the new gear, and how much it costs:
iPod Shuffle: No Updates.
New iPod Nano: 16GB Model, $149; 8GB Model, $129
- New Multi-Touch Gestures -- It now operates exactly like the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.
- New Form Factor -- 46% Smaller, 42% Lighter.
- New Built-In Clip -- For your loose pockets.
New iPod Touch (On Sale Oct. 12th): 8GB Model, $199; 32GB Model, $299; 64GB Model, $399.
- New, Thinner Design -- Which is really saying something, because the last model was pretty thin.
- New iOS 5 Integration -- Everything you see here, including Notification Center, iMessage, Newsstand, Apple's Twitter App, and iCloud integration.
