Battlefield 3, the AAA first-person shooter and frontrunner for Game of the Year is already being seeded on torrent searches.

With Battlefield 3 already being considered a shoe-in for Game of the Year, Electronic Arts' potential revenue just hit a serious road block.

Despite EA's efforts to steal the spotlight from Activision's Modern Warfare 3, the Battlefield 3 ship is already under attack by pirates and thieves. A 9.69GB download of BF3's single player PC campaign, already making the rounds on a number of illegal torrent sites, stands firmly as a big "Fuck You" to the company's earnings.

For anyone looking to actually buy BF3, the game goes on sale in the US October 25, a week from today. Anyone living in the UK will have to wait three days, as the game comes out in your region on October 28.
