Technical difficulties thwarting the 11 p.m. news? No problem for WCTV of Tallahassee, Fla., as the CBS affiliate kept the news flowing via Facebook, Twitter, and its own website.
Among the content shared on the station’s Facebook page were videos featuring anchor Lee Gordon that appeared to be shot with a mobile phone, according to Lost Remote.
Apparently, the video feed only went onto the CBS affiliate’s Facebook page during last night’s technical problems; the microsite contains an archive of news footage but has no live feeds at the moment. We’re guessing that advertising concerns may explain why.
