If you wear your love of Nintendo on your sleeve, why not your feet, too? Converse has these special sneakers slated for the summer.
In recognition of Super Mario Bros.' 25th anniversary (which was last year, but who hates?), Converse is producing a set of Super Mario-branded Chuck Taylor sneakers. The shoes -- in white or black -- feature various poses of Mario's sprite from the original game, and the added detail of eyes added to the Converse star, resembling the game's Super Star power-up.
The good news: They'll be out by July. The bad news: It looks like the shoes will only be available in Japan, and no price was announced. If you're tempted, then brace your wallet for impact. Me, I'm partial to Nike's Nintendo Air Max.
