Hey, here's something that may be of passing interest to you: Hollywood's still churning out those Resident Evil movies. Oh, and Leon "You're Small Time" Kennedy is set to feature in the latest one, because why not?

Hollywood's Sill Making Those Resident Evil Movies, Casts Some Guy as Leon Kennedy

Director Paul W.S. Anderson is set to remind everyone that he's really very fond of his wife with a brand new Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil: Retribution, which has just gotten a fresh new face. The face in question is Johann "This is My Real Name" Urb, who you may recall as being that guy in that episode of Entourage that one time, or maybe as that one guy in the Knight Rider reboot that you likely didn't watch. Anyway, that's the guy that's playing Resident Evil 2 and 4's Leon S. Kennedy, so prepare for that when it happens eventually.

Anyway, Resident Evil: Retribution is currently in pre-production and set for a September 2012 release, when it will probably feature Milla Jovovich's Alice doing a lot of things in slow motion while trying to make everyone forget about Ultraviolet. Speaking of Jovovich, she tweeted a video of the cast doing a read-through of the script. Which you can watch here, if that's the kind of thing that you're into.
