Facebook has increased the default number of tabs appearing on the left hand side of pages from six to eight, also adding the ability for the inclusion of more tabs that people can view by clicking on a link that says “more.”

Along with this addition, the tab corresponding with what you’re viewing on a page gets highlighted in light blue, as you can see in the screenshot to the right.

Interestingly, the official subsite for Facebook pages has eight tabs visible and nothing saying “more” beneath.

So we’re looking for examples of pages that have more than eight tabs worth of content to see whether the “more” option has become available, but so far haven’t seen that yet. Have you?

Does this new development inspire you to add more tabs to your page, and if so, for what kind of content?
