New Orleans Saints football players Marques Colston and Devery Henderson signed up for an Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) public service announcement on game ratings aimed at parents.

The campaign led by the receivers includes TV and radio commercials, as well as air time on the Saints' Pro Star Video Board during games. In the ads, Colston and Henderson explain ESRB ratings and urge parents to use them as guidelines for purchasing age-appropriate games for their kids.

Straight from the press release:

"They say the best defense is a good offense, and I know about good offense. A parent's best defense against bringing home the wrong game for their child is to go on offense and use the ratings every time they buy or rent a game. You're always better off when you know the play."
--Colston

You can see and hear the ads on the ESRB's Media Library website. Or just wander into any GameStop where the ads air on the in-store closed-circuit network.
