In all of the build-up to Mass Effect 3, BioWare has been doing a solid job of maintaining interest and fan feedback on the conclusion to the Commander Shepard arc. Most notably, a potentially disastrous fan-vote for the face of "FemShep" was steered in the right direction by a second round elimination tactic, while previews have been glowing. But what if there was one more big reveal in the works?

According to Shack News, a flyer for Mass Effect 3 actually confirms that the game will have multiplayer content, something that BioWare has careful to neither confirm nor deny. While "deathmatch" style gameplay seems bit weird for the series, we think that two-player co-op missions would fit the bill quite nicely. Either way, this is as close to official confirmation as we've gotten so far.

More from Shack News:

South African retailer BT Games (via CVG) lists the collector's edition with all the features announced for the North American bundle. The casual mention of the "online multiplayer pass" has fans on the BioWare forums speculating if this is a reference to EA's previous online passes, or if it could be a mis-worded interpretation of the Cerberus Network, included with Mass Effect 2. The voucher, included with new copies of ME2, granted access to a selection of downloadable content, including the character Zaeed and his loyalty mission.

Previous retail leaks have outed Mass Effect 3's Kinect support.

Although EA has yet to announce multiplayer support for BioWare's upcoming shooter, the current rumor pegs the feature as a co-op Horde-style mode that has four players fighting an onslaught of enemies.
