Back in June Facebook began letting companies remove the original page administrators, as we reported at the time, however that feature appears to have been removed with the release of the new Page administrator interface.
However some people have told us that some pages are able to remove the original administrators. Our guess is that this is a simple bug with the new Page admin section and that Facebook will probably fix this bug in the near future. In the meantime many Page administrators will have to wait if they are in need of removing their original administrators. Ultimately it’s not the greatest of issues, but when our inboxes get flooded with emails about this bug, we like to highlight them.
While I think it will be fixed eventually, you’ll be forced to wait in the meantime!
