Batman: Arkham City isn't slowing down with DLC content quite yet -- now Robin is getting a couple of very appropriately themed alternate costumes.

Oh, poor Dick Grayson -- you're going to really hate yourself for a while when Barbara gets sick of your crap and shacks up with Bruce.

Although Robin's look in Batman: Arkham City is much more akin to Dick Grayson in Batman Forever than Tim Drake in any other series, the Boy Wonder is officially recognized in-game as Robin III.

However, the next line-up of DLC will obscure this distinction even further for hardcore Batman fans, as two of the three new costumes for Robin come from completely different alter egos. First, the Red Robin costume (the current identity of Tim Drake in the comics) will be available as a special Best Buy pre-order incentive. But where things get out of order is the Batman: The Animated Series costume skin -- it's vintage Dick Grayson. If the continuity here was going to be a little more accurate, the costume skin would look more like Tim Drake in The New Batman Adventures. Plus, he'd be a little shorter.

Still, it's a pretty cool inclusion by Rocksteady Studios. All we need at this point is retro-style Catwoman costumes based on the animated series, the Silver Age comics, and perhaps the Batman Returns movie. (Rowr.)

While we're nitpicking, let's hope that all of Batman and Robin's costumes will be made available as a DLC package, rather than us having to pick and choose.
