With news of Harmonix's bargain-basement sale price, we polled our Twitter followers to find out the real worth of the developer.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Harmonix bought its independence from Viacom for just $50. While the sale price was a mere formality, we wanted to know what our 23,000-plus Twitter followers thought of Harmonix's worth. Here's our question:

While $50 isn't a realistic price for a development studio to run for, Harmonix's price of independence was likely more of a symbolic move than the result of intense negotiation. Of greater importance is what the developer does with itself now that it's free of corporate ownership. It should be interesting to see what 2011 has in store for the $50 developer.
