Epic sent us a very curious package this morning, which we opened and examined. Check out the photos and find out how you can win the mystery box!
Late yesterday I received a cryptic email from the Bulletstorm team. Here's what it said, in its entirety:
Hi Dave,
Bulletstorm is seven weeks away, but we've got something coming your way much sooner. Keep an eye on your mailbox (the metal one not the one on your computer). If you find the URL that's inside by 1PM you can be the first to share it with the world. Hurry, you're not the only one that's getting a chance.
We promise nothing will explode, except maybe your mind.
XOXO,
Bulletstorm Team
Earlier today, I was sent a mysterious package from People Can Fly. Here is my pictorial of my examination of the contents.
Here is the box sent by People Can Fly. It smelled very earthy.
Turns out it was actually filled with leaves and dirt. More notably, it also contained a miniature briefcase and a magnifying glass.
The miniature briefcase had one open latch and one closed latch, which I presumed was part of a complex puzzle I had to solve.
Instead, I used the twine-cutting scissors to pry the mini-case open.
Inside were tiny models of a shot glass, a lime, bottles of gin and tonic, and a citation for public urination with a tiny URL that (sorta) required the magnifying glass to read.
When the URL GraysonBelieves.com is entered into an address bar, it leads to the following "Robot Chicken"-esque video:
So, while I didn't learn a damn thing about Bulletstorm, I did have a fun time finding the weird video shown above. While you won't have the same experience, I'd like to pass some of the fun along, so I'm going to award the box and everything in it (minus the dirt and string) to one lucky commenter. The URL GraysonBelieves.com has me wondering, what does he believe, exactly? The person who I believe answers it best will win the box and its contents at 6PM PST. Only one comment per person please--anyone with multiple comments will be disqualified.
