Aside from some big-number announcements (Kinect sold 8 million in 60 days) and a whole lot of Windows Phone 7 talk, Microsoft had some game-related announcements for us.

First up is Avatar Kinect -- a virtual world environment kind of like PlayStation Home, only Kinect-enabled. Supposedly, the device will track even your facial expressions, rendering them to your Avatar in virtual "sets" where Avatars can all hang out. Also, it's for Gold Members only.

Next up and also Kinect-related are Netflix and HuluPlus. Kinect-enabled Netflix is due out later this year and we can look for Kinect-enabled HuluPlus this spring.

Lastly, Windows Phone 7 got a lot of love out of Microsoft. As far as games go, the big announcement is a Fable III golf game that generates in-game currency for your Xbox 360 character. So kind of like Pub Games on Xbox Live, but with your phone.

So nothing mind-blowing -- but then, CES isn't really the place for mind-blowing video game announcements, is it?
