Last night a ton of sites suddenly became interested in the fact that you can’t block Mark Zuckerberg. In fact, he’s the only person on the site who you can’t block. When you attempt to block him, the alert, which is pictured to the right, shows up, to let you know that the “Block failed”. The “issue” was first posted by BlockZuck.com, and has since become widely known.
Jack McKenna, a writer for Techcrunch, argues that “Facebook is getting way too big and culturally important for things like this to continue.” Really? Does anybody thing that Mark Zuckerberg is spending his time going around harassing users on the site? Has anybody, until now, attempted to block him? Apparently people care enough to try. Shouldn’t the founder of the site get at least one benefit for creating the site, aside from a personal paper worth of billions of dollars?
Do you think it matters that Mark Zuckerberg can’t be blocked on Facebook?
