EA dominated the news day with its earnings report, new Sims game announcement and the strange multiplatform plans for NBA Jam, but a few other stories from smaller companies merited notice, and will recieve just that in today's daily stale bread.

Will: Check it out--Virgin is adding Ubisoft games to its tournament slate. Tae... they've got Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.

Tae: I'd totally win this, but it wouldn't be ethical with my current position. Consider yourself lucky, Virgin gamers.

The Settlers of Catan trades up for objects

John: Microsoft is bringing Catan to its limited-release Surface platform.

Dave: We need one of these Surface devices in our office, like yesterday.

Transformers MMO announced and it's not launching here
Will: Transformers MMO not launching in America. Think it's newsworthy?

Dave: Not quite, though it is alarming to see cool franchises like Transformers and WWE go online abroad and not here.

BioShock 2 Gets Single-Player DLC
Dave: New BioShock 2 DLC today. I'm jazzed to have more single-player Little Sister protector missions, but I wish it would incorporate more of the franchise's deep story.

What one thing could make the Scott Pilgrim Vs The World game even more awesome?

Dave: Great code, or greatest code ever? Regardless, the game (and movie) can't come soon enough.
