Despite all the Battlefield 3 and Capcom trailers debuting at Comic Con 2011, some GamePro readers still have Mortal Kombat on the brain.
Although the opening events, announcements, and trailers of Comic Con 2011 can arguably just be boiled down to "Capcom Movie Day," Mortal Kombat is stealing its fair bit of thunder with the announcement of Freddy Krueger.
Some gamers are already on-board with the idea:
