Mortal Kombat's gritty reboot web series is a wrap, with the first season finale showcasing our favorite cyborg ninjas, Sektor and Cyrax.

If you've been keeping up with the Mortal Kombat series (no, not that one), you know that there's been a lot of ups and downs in the first handful of live-action episodes. By far, one of the best has been the Johnny Cage episode, while other segments, like the heavily animated introduction of Kitana and Mileena to the series, have been less impressive. Mortal Kombat: Legacy's final episode, a breakdown of Sektor and Cyrax's conversion from ninja badasses to cyborg ninja badasses, falls closer to the "awesome" side of the scale.

It seems that a second season is definitely on the way, and Mortal Kombat fans should hope so. While many MK characters (karacters?) have been given solid introductions, some key cast members are still missing. Liu Kang comes to mind first.
