Confirming rumors from a few days ago, Capcom finally announced today via their blog that an official Phoenix Wright movie is, in fact, in production.
The live-action feature film will be directed by Takashi Miike, the controversial power behind Ichi the Killer and a number of other fantastic films. The movie witll feature Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth, and spirit medium Maya Fey. Whether Maya's older sister will make a clothes-busting appearance is unconfirmed.
Look for it in (Japanese) theaters early spring 2012.
