The country's largest video games retailer alluded to it in its quarterly financial report and conference call earlier this week, and now it is official: the Halo: Reach Noble pack serves as the first major DLC product to be available as a pre-order item through GameStop.
Along with providing consumers a way to buy the DLC early, the Halo: Reach Noble Map digital add-on pack pre-order program provides an exclusive bonus item. The reward for buying Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack early from GameStop is the Mark V Spartan Flaming Helmet. Free stuff aside, the real advantage for GameStop and consumers, is that DLC can never be "out of stock."
The Noble Map Pack DLC code is delivered to the "Downloads and Add-ons" area of pre-order customers' GameStop PowerUp Rewards account on launch day. Codes to unlock the Mark V Spartan Flaming Helmet avatar will be delivered via email. Details on how to join the GameStop PowerUp Rewards program can be found on the web site. Membership is free.
The new Halo: Reach Noble Map Pack DLC releases November 30 for $9.99 and can be pre-ordered now. For more information visit, www.gamestop.com/haloreach.
