-New iPhone Facebook App Screenshot-As promised Facebook released the newest version (3.3.2) of their iPhone app today, with several upgrades including their new Social Inbox feature we covered earlier.

It should be noted that users who have not yet been invited to use the Social Inbox will not see the feature in their version of the app.  The Social Inbox is expected to be rolled out to all users within two months.

Facebook has also fixed a commonly known bug which prevents users from uploading to certain photo albums via the app.

Other upgrades include access to Account Settings, Privacy Settings, and the Help Center.  To access these simply tap the “Account” button on the upper right of your Facebook app’s homescreen.  Unfortunately, these features can only be accessed from the app using the browser-based interface, which is particularly cumbersome should you want adjust your settings.  In all likelihood Facebook will be building an app-specific interface for these features in the future.

One odd component of this upgrade is that Facebook has redirected users to a browser within the application to let them edit their account settings and privacy settings. While it’s useful in one sense, why couldn’t Facebook just create a settings page within the application that fits the iPhone chrome? What do you think of the new app?
