A popular sentiment amongst fans is that the Go and PSP-3000 should sell at the same price point. With Sony seeming to re-shift its weight behind the previous hardware model, giving the PSP Go a comparable price seems like common sense for the company. Here are the players for PSP price parity:
@GamePro Same as the 3k seems fitting. They both have features the other doesn't and represent two sides of the fence.less than a minute ago via webGift

@GamePro it should be on par with the PSP-3000. Onboard storage is balanced by games missing from library/having to repurchase UMD games.less than a minute ago via webDana (Tawkn)

A handful of Twitter users made it abundantly clear that the PSP Go's limitations make it unworthy of a purchase at any price. Here are the folks who want no part of the portable in its most recent iteration:
@GamePro There is no optimal price. The hardware design of the Go is amazing, but the lack of UMD makes it a useless device.less than a minute ago via TweetDeckKyle Bradshaw

@GamePro My PSP1000 has a memory stick, so it can play anything the Go can. The PSP is on its way out the door, no point in upgrading now.less than a minute ago via TrillianRoss Polly

Still, a few folks have found that the new price is more than ideal for the PSP Go, with some arguing that the system was worth a purchase at the original price. Here are the system's most strident defenders:
@GamePro I bought it at launch and got WAY more than $250 worth of fun. I'd pay full price again. Bluetooth and 16GB storage FTW!less than a minute ago via webJohn Gray

While the Go may not have been the boon for PSP sales that Sony had hoped, the revisions in hardware did serve as a great training ground for the next generation of handheld gaming. At $200, the (perhaps final) version of the original PlayStation Portable may still be too rich for some gamers, but there are plenty of positives to be found in the hardware to offset the mistakes made in its creation.
