This weekend's giveaway is focused on this year's two biggest space-based games -- Halo: Reach and StarCraft II, we're giving away both games and some sweet swag to GamePro followers of all stripes. Read on for more details.
We had a tremendous turnout for last weekend's PlayStation Move contest, so we're once again making our contest a three-day event with new opportunities to enter each day. This week, two sci-fi favorites are on the line.
Facebook fans 17 years old and up will have the chance to score the Halo: Reach Legendary Edition. With a meticulously-detailed statue and authentic replicas of Reach props (you can learn about all of the extras here), this is truly worthy of the Legendary name. In order to enter on the Facebook end, reply to the contest post with the answer to a simple question: "Why the heck do you not have Reach already?" You can answer once per day today, Saturday, and Sunday for a total of three Facebook entries. We'll close the contest at Midnight PST Sunday and pick a winner at 10AM on Monday morning.
If you've already picked up the game but still have an itch for more Reach swag, the Twitter contest may be up your alley. We've got a rare Reach-emblazoned briefcase that houses some pretty cool accessories and reading material. Inside the case you'll find a Halo: Reach-emblazoned controller, a download code for a Reach-inspired Xbox Avatar item, and three cool reading items -- the Signature Series strategy guide from Bradygames, a copy of the recently-reissued novel Halo: The Fall of Reach, and the franchise retrospective Halo: Overture. This box is already packed with some awesome products on par with the kind that Bungie and Microsoft have been delivering for years, so we're posing the following contest question -- what's the coolest Halo-related product out there? Is it in this breifcase? Is it the briefcase itself? Is it one of the games or one of the many related Halo products released over the years. You can answer once per day today, Saturday, and Sunday for a total of three standard entries. However, we'll pose our "Tell us how you really feel" question to Twitter shortly, which will allow users to gain an additional fourth Twitter entry. We'll close the contest at Midnight PST Sunday and pick a winner at 10AM on Monday morning.
Last, and certainly not least, we've got a StarCraft 2 Collector's Edition lined up for one lucky GamePro user. In order to score the ultimate version of this year's biggest PC game, we're asking GamePro users to leave a comment below with with word "craft" in it. You can enter once per day today, Saturday, and Sunday for a total of three GamePro entries. We'll close the contest at Midnight PST Sunday and pick a winner at 10AM on Monday morning.
