While you’ll have to wait until January and tune into network TV to see the CNBC documentary on Facebook, you can watch a Bloomberg Game Changers profile on Mark Zuckerberg on the web right now.

The 25-minute documentary includes interviews with Tyler Winklevoss, Cameron Winklevoss and Divya Narendra, who accused Zuckerberg of stealing the original idea for the site. Other interviews include Yuri Milner, chief executive officer of Digital Sky Technologies, Michael Wolf, former president and chief operating officer of Viacom Inc.’s MTV Networks, and David Kirkpatrick, author of “The Facebook Effect. The big difference with the upcoming CNBC documentary is that Zuckerberg and Facebook did not take part in the Bloomberg story.

The story told in the Bloomberg piece is quite similar to the version of events in the fictionalized movie The Social Network. It charts the original conflict between Zuckerberg, the Winklevoss twins and Narendra, the conflict with co-founder Eduardo Saverin, the decision to turn down the Yahoo! offer, the introduction of news feed, the opening of the site beyond colleges, the Microsoft and Yuri Milner investments, privacy issues, the Newark school donation and the release of the movie The Social Network.

It’s a good watch and manages to condense into 25 minutes the essence of what has been told in several books about the founding of Facebook. It feels a little one-sided though and it only touches on the impact of the site on people’s lives.
